OK this is far from parted out, Been slowly chiseling away at this. Got sidetracked a few times, but pretty happy with how things are turning out.

Ill give everyone a quick rundown

Bought a WRX- blew the motor up 2.0 (probably my fault) so i built a 2.5L Hybrid

Custom tuned running about 15 psi boost- about to turn 9k miles on completed engine

The wrx is cool, but... couldn't resist picking this up since I payed off the wrx

And yes the body has been off mainly so I could do this, it came off easy enough why fight with it.... 5.3, Th400, Ford np205

Put the body back on sunday

Ive been cycling the suspension, extremely happy with that, the body engine/trans/tcase all fit together perfect. The drive shaft angles/lengths all look great. Making the front drive shaft ATM, Ill post some picture of that process.

They are just cellphone pictures. Nothing is photoshopped.

Making the front D shaft it needed to be 2 inches shorter

Carefully seperated the splines from the shaft

Cut it off and pressed it back in. Made a jig to hold it in the press- ran a dial indicator off the end to get it square

Welded it back up.. should be good

Got some small stuff ordered. Got a radiator installed. Measured for lines and hose. I'm trying to get something done on this every night. I'll add a new picture in a few

Hope you plan on building a new skid plate before any wheeling. Because it doesn't take very much to bend up the center of the factory skid, right into your tranny pan.

I have a piece to replace the factory skid plate. Trying to decide how to attach it, the Trans/tcase is no longer attached to the skidplate.

Well its been a a while but finally this thing is running and driving...

Still have alot of little things to go yet- making the dash (thats just a rough in...)

Need to make the t case shifters, got everything for those. Just need to make them up. going to add 1 inch spacers to the rear coils, going to adjust the front up and adjust the bumpstops up 1/2 to 1 inch. also need to get my coil overs charged. I may get a small nitrogen bottle and make my own setup.

I am very happy with how the engine runs, feels real strong, WAY better than the 2.5L The trans and t case both seem to be working well.

My front axle had 5.13s in it when I got it, I ended up setting up the gears in my 14 bolt myself only took 1 picture of that process. The coast and drive side looked good to me, backlash was good. It went pretty easy. Ended up just welding the rear diff. The front has posi with clutches and they seem to be grabbing very well (So Far)

Heated the ring gear up in the oven ><

Mocking up the limiting straps

To do list

Finish dash- hook up gauges
Build twin stick for np205
I have the skid plate cut out, need to find way to attach it so that it is removable.
Install new shifter cable brackets.
Adjust suspension- charge shocks.
Hook up CB
Install winch

Got a good deal on a set of 4 rims 17x9 Non bead lock, but I may get some inner airlocks and put them in. I like the backspacing on the rims a lot better, the tires no longer rub on the control arms at full lock. I probably have an hour of run time on it tooling around my house trying to get the suspension dialed in, still working on a few small things. Time to get some insurance on it and run it down and get some ice cream....

It sits about 77 inches to the top of the window frame.
