Ordered everything I need for rear discs on the 14bolt, have all the brackets I need, deciding on link material and what kind of ends I want to run. Gears and a locker next week maybe... pretty much decided on a 14 bolt after I broke the dana 35 (has me scared it went so easily) Might sacrifice some ground clearance on smaller tires for a while, but if im gonna do it.. Im only gonna do it once and do it right

I have rims/tires to run on it that really should only be 1 ish inch wider than the front- so I'll prolly run a 14 bolt/ dana 30 for awhile

Shouldn't the calipers be behind the the axle? They look funny where they are at, maybe it is just me seeing I haven't done mine yet.

I guess just make sure bleaders are up and you are all set.

I guess you could run them either way, and yea the bleeders are to the upside

On a side note I did drive it on the 29th, Made the exhaust last night. Ordered a longer rear brake flex line and I need to hook the shocks up/possibly do some kind of limiting strap. this setup will droop out alot farther than the stock, and more than enough to bind the rear driveshaft

AND the 14 bolt I have has a detroit locker in it WOOT!

Here is a crappy picture of what I got going- took today (9/2)

3 link with trackbar no stretch
currently 9 inches seperation at axle 6 inches at frame (I have adjustable brackets could go 7-10ish if I notch the floor pan.. I may make an upper link tunnel) 32 inch links
I moved the stock spring mounts on the frame so they sit directly above the axle I ended up using the stock front springs and it matches the front 4 inch springs nicely
The shocks are not mounted- they will need to be ran outside the frame to get them close to all the way compressed when the suspension is on the bump stop.

I did order a longer rear brake line, My rear discs seem to work pretty nicely (I just gutted my stock proportioning valve and I think that will be sufficient)

5.13s and and a bearing kit are waiting for the axle I plan on getting a front dana 60 for my birthday

Super happy with how the width turned out compared to the front no more than 1 inch wider and barely noticeable

for a dana 30/ 14 bolt the width is pretty close (67 inch wide 14 bolt)

Some poser flex shots, still need to mount the shocks. I think that my shock travel will be more of a limiting factor than a 3 link w/trackbar

I managed to pop the spring out on that side (I still need to bolt them down) and caved the steering backing the front tires over that same rock... Dam weak ass stock stuff

In the one pix it looks like u moved the track bar to the other side? How is that working out? I'm thinking of moving my front track bar to the other side cuz ill have full hydro steering so it doesn't need to match up with my draglink cuz I wont have one

I have seen front tracbars ran from the other side (I believe Jimmy's little ugly is like that) and yes I ran it from the other side and I havent noticed anything weird from it (including onroad driving)

Ill try to grab some more pictures of how it is tonight
