Joxracing's '89 F-150...."The Swamp Donkey"

Here's my new to me '89 f-150, dubbed the "swamp donkey"

Its really nothing special, f-150, 351w, extended cab, factory 2" lift, rusty with brand new 33" BFGoodrich Mud Terrains...

Now, Im from Marquette Mi, and mostly deal with old VW stuff, my wheelin' rig was a 1966 baja bug, which i still wheel, Im 16 and still in highschool, and i had an old '66 dune buggy that i traded for this ford, plus the guy gave me $300, so i think i did alright.

Heres some pictures...

The dunebuggy leaving...

I know you guys dont care, but here's the horse's that currently reside in my barn with the swamp donkey...
The 1966 Baja Bug

The 1977 VW Rabbit Rally car

The 1973 Super Beetle "resto-mod"

This is my first 4x4, i dont have to much planned, but i plan on diggin' this thing down in the mud...

mileage on the ford, it says somewhere around 60,xxx, but im guessing its turned over?
im not really concerned... yet.

GPS mount and the stereo in...

For some reason, i feel like my truck lost some of its "badass-ness" by putting the stereo in, but oh well...

Shovel mount that i just made quick, gonna switch the nuts out for wing nuts...

Any ideas on air compressors?

I was thinking of buying a cheapy from harbor freight or something, just a medium size, mounting it in the box, and run the normal cord to a power invertor in the cab...

would that work?

Gonna pick up hopefully a set of 6" Deaver lift coils, ext. brake lines and pitman arm, and hopefully get my beams cut n turned for the front end, get a little extra travel out of this thing....

picked up a stock grill for it too, get rid of that ugly old billet thing.
