Default Project Last Minute - lifted 95 yj with a 454

i bought the project with a chevy 350/350 turbo, spring over, 2.5" springs, and wagoneer axles. my plans with the jeep were to put my mild 454/700r4 in it with a 14 bolt detroit locker rear/10 bolt front and 4.11s. the transfer case is a dodge and chevy 208 combined. the previous mounts werent nearly stong enough so everything got ripped out and rebuilt.
This is it right after i bought it but with a 3" body lift added.

10 bolt in the front with 38.5s

no motor or trans but the 14 bolts added

The new motor mounts

the motor finally in

and some fun

soon to be painted

I think you should rename this build thread to the Quickest axle snapper454+38.5's+10 bolt may not be the best combo.

I shoulda made my motor mounts even higher than I did with the 402 in the CJ....as the block sits down too low. I like yours.

Nice

that motor and drivetrain used to be in my 84 chevy that was shortened and pinched in the rear. it has lasted through 3 mud bogs and some messin around in the field. nothin that should break it yet though

If you drive that thing to work I'm going to run over and pee on the tire.....damn kids driving 10ft wide Jeeps around town when I used to get lift height and mud flap tickets in a 1-ton truck on 35's.

Nice work, if you think of it, bring that tub of NP208 parts back into town, I've got one I need to swap inputs on.
