Look at your intake manifold and see if it looks wet right when you park it after a drive

It might be your injectors leaking from the o-rings

Does it crank a little longer to start it then before it started smelling like gas?

are you one of those guys who click the gas nozzle ten times to get every drop in it? if so you have filled the charcoal canister with gas and now its venting it out instead of filtering the fumes

IM going to have to look at that because it is defintally taking longer to start than it did before.

Also check the fuel pressure regulator for leaking.. Take the vacuum hose off (if you can get to it) And see if it is leaking past the diaphram.. That will also give you a hard start intermittently..
Not sure if this applies to your year and make.. Also check and see if the hose to canister next to radiator is off..
