I have a 95 tahoe, and there is a horrible gas smell from the truck. It doesnt leave a spot of gas on the drive way, and there isnt any spots on the tank. ANY ideas???
thanks
jake
are you one of those guys who click the gas nozzle ten times to get every drop in it? if so you have filled the charcoal canister with gas and now its venting it out instead of filtering the fumes
Also check the fuel pressure regulator for leaking.. Take the vacuum hose off (if you can get to it) And see if it is leaking past the diaphram.. That will also give you a hard start intermittently..
Not sure if this applies to your year and make.. Also check and see if the hose to canister next to radiator is off..
