'98 5.9l ZJ - lifted, ARB, 4.56, tons of mods....
Making way for a new toy, so a few things need to go.
First up is my Graphite '98 5.9l ZJ.
Mileage is ~156k. Everything works that I am aware of.
On top of the factory heated leather, moonroof, premium sound, etc.... Modifcations include:
Full headers with mandel-bent y-pipe and 3" mandrel-bent full exhaust with Magnoflow muffler and hi-flow catalytic conveter. Sounds GREAT.
Mopar Performance 5.9l computer, Mopar Performance M1 intake manifold, 108mm throttle body, 1.7 roller rockers. K&N cold-air intake and air filter.
I believe it's a Teraflex lift, adjustable upper and lower control arms front and rear. New shocks this spring. A couple bushings need to be replaced.
4.56 gears in both axles - done by KOZ about 7 years ago. I think the rear is starting to whine a little bit around 50mph.
Had the NP-242 conversion done to replace the NP-249. The bezel hasn't been replaced, however.
ARB front bumper w/d-rings in matching black.
AC blows COLD even on the hottest days.
I have the 4 factory wheels + plus the original spare (lugnut holes are f'd up) plus 3 spare additional wheels.
No major rust/rot, but the hood has some rust along the front lip. Jeep has a few scuffs and scratches here and there due to age. Clearcoat is starting to peel on the hood vents.
Jeep is not perfect - it has it's share of clunks and rattles - it's 12 years old and has miles on it. As stated above, it could use a few bushings replaced.
It's a fun Jeep to drive and gets LOTS of looks.
Asking $5000 and pretty firm on the price. I don't need (or want) to get rid of it, but I have too many vehicles (and the wife isn't happy about another one coming).

I have 2 stock 98' 5.9L ZJs they get 14 city/18 hwy with the 249 (full time 4 wheel drive), having the 242 and 2 wd mode should help a little I guess but still without lockout hubs everything is turning still.
That's what a stocker gets for MPG I'm curious what you get with the 4.56 gears! The tranny has a nice deep overdrive and with your bigger tires I'm sure its close to stock MPG if not a lil better.
Nice 5.9er and the best color of the 3!
The color is "Deep Slate" bro!
