Well I don't know how your supposed to install the glass seals and inner to outer seal, but I fucked them both up. The aftermarket windshield frames 'grooves' for the glass are much to thin to accept glass + seal, so for now I have plexi in there again.

The inner to outer seal was shitty quality, the 'T' part of the seal did not fit well into the seal groove and when trying to slide it down the frame it tore It didn't help that the seal seemed to be a little short, and I was having to try to stretch it a little.

I'll get pics when I get home, I might be able to salvage it with superglue if I can get the seal into the damn inner frame. I am half temped to just save up for a really good condition original frame. The inner and outter just absolutely did not want to slide back together either despite grease, and nothing had changed from dry assembly on the garage floor. But now I have a small dent in the drivers side of the inner frame too.

I knew the glass would be too thick to accommodate the original style rubber seal, infact the glass shop said it most likely would not work. the glass fabricator said he could custom cut the glass to fit the frame and install it with newer but still serviceable methods. to seal the glass to the frame he used a light black silicone that looks like rubber.

as for the outer rubber seal. by far this could be the most difficult thing I have ever done. I used tons of soap for lubrication and rounded off the end of a carpenters shim to push it in the frame. still it tore in the corners and I glued it back together. it fit in there good but imo the seal is made of way too brittle rubber.

if the super glue doesn't work get some locktite 2 part plastic glue as that glue it awesome for plastic, rubber, etc.

Together minus the seal using plexi again for now.... The plexi is dirty, not scratched.

I will dick with it when I get more time I guess...

Going to pull the grill and front clip off this weekend... Apparently nothing is really holding it on other then the fender to tub bolts because I broke the mount

Looks good with the trailer though, need some J bars for the Kayaks... Why are they so expensive?

I have no pictures of that yet

It is freaking solid now though

Want to come fix my tractor now, MTD/Cub Cadet needs to learn to weld instead of use bolts on very important pieces

Sweet, I was thinking about switching over to front drums also

It is bigger drums then I have... but turning radius is what I was going for

FINALLY! I may end up putting the 10" drums on this axle though so I don't have to buy new wheels right away. Money has been tight

More importantly it is a 3.73 NT D30. Adam and I (mostly Adam) kept tracking down NT D30's that were supposedly 3.73 so I wouldn't have to regear, he would get there and discover they were actually 3.54.

This one is a real 3.73 axle so I can bolt it right in

get his, too, and put the disc knuckles onto it. Thats what I did with mine (1975 with, yep, 3.73s). The 72-75s are the 3.73s (or 4.27s), the laters are 3.55s, people seem to confuse them.

God flatties look awesome on 34x.9.5s tsl's.

We are worried with the single camber master that the disc would be to much for it. There were mixed results on Earlycj5 with the results.

I was just in Gurnee too.. problem is it wouldn't have fit in the car with both dogs and our weekend gear... Sandals lives about 2 miles from my wife's parents - and I STILL haven't had a chance to have a beer with him.

I should upgrade to a dual chamber master... but need the YJ done first.

Adam came over and bent these up and welded them on, I have a little grinding to do on the welds, but hell the whole jeep isn't pretty. These reinforce the grill support and help to hold it in place.
