And then I took my gloves off as fast as I could......

Ouch.

Reigning champion of the most used, yet most feared tool in my garage.... my 4.5" grinder.

I've been lucky enough to avoid that, but I tend to have wires break off and fly outward at mach 7. I've had them stick into all kinds of places I really did not want them

If you would just paint over the rust you wouldn't have that problem.

I've managed to avoid getting that much road rash from mine but it scares me every time I use it.

I threw my 4.5" wire wheel in the trash, everytime I used it there was pain involved. Those little wires do not feel very good in the man bag. I now use the smaller wire wheels in my electric drill, sure you don't cover as much area but they so far have proven safer to use.

I still need to pull the front axle back out to freshen it up, but I need to make it a roller for a week or so, so I splashed some paint on it just to look better. I'm getting there.

And then, buy accident, I cleaned my garage and found my Chevelle. It's fresh from the paint shop.... a year ago...., and I bothered to finally wash and inspect. It needs wheeled' out and reassembled but I couldnt help but fire up the fresh BBC and smile...just a little. This one will be worked on this winter..... I mean it.
