I finished this one. I drove it. A part-out now should not be held against me.

I understood the importance- I reset the cable, went WOT, heard 2 or 3 clicks. Is there something else I should have done?

This was your starting point. The soft shifts are a dead give away that you didn't have enough line pressure. To give it more, you need to shorten the cable and re road test.

C-moked 2-4 band. Was brand new, now down to metal. Kevlar band and a new drum going in. Corvette servo is replacing the Monster servo and an oversized valve is going in just to get back to proven parts. Gonna try one more time, but debating on selling my 700-231/241 Adv. Adp. kit and building my 400 or 4L80.

I believe I saw this parked at the Memorial Day parade today. No sign of the owner though.

Rumor has it that it has been used quite a bit lately. Still has a bad noise in the rear end, but she's been getting some miles. I like having a Jeep again.... even for attending parades.

Negative. Joe Runci's backyard playground managed to rip my upper coilover tabs from the shock hoop. I had been beating on it pretty good the previous day while playing Bo Duke. After waiting for a welder to show up I elected to just pull the coilover, load the family up and drive that bitch back to Howell from Linden. It looked a little funny and rode like poo, but made it home. It's all better now.

Should be. I took the welded spiders out last month to let some visiting family use it as a DD, so I should throw those back in (but it drives so nice right now......). I still have that PSC pump sitting in the box, so I may swap that out tonight. I could have fun with it today if I had to tho.
