Did you check to see that you can swing the soft top hoop down without hitting the C hoop? Sucks to build a cage to fit a softop and then struggle putting the top up and down.

Looks good.

It wont swing free, I will have to pull the pin that holds the frame to the tub bracket. For it to clear, I would have had to give up over 6" of rear headroom. I just hope a hardtop fits.....

Looking great! I must not have seen it but you put a YJ top on a tj tub? Thats a good idea. I like how the tj bows are easier to work with but wondered how hard it would be to make them work with a completely new cage.

Do you have a hard top? I have one if you want to check before final welding.

Not a YJ top, but a Bestop Supertop- YJ style mounting, which I like.

Thanks for the compliments, I'm really happy with how its turning out.

Slow night. Lots of little stuff that I guess is just as important as the big stuff, just less fun. Cage is close, 4 more gussets and some harness tabs and it will be ready to pull/weld/paint/make excuses.

Tried it, and I'm gonna say no.

At least until I get my steering and such sorted out.
