Front axle is now rebuilt- KP's, all seals, joints, Lockrite, etc. The bleeders are froze in my calipers and I'm trying to decide if I should go get some rebuilt ones ($50 ea), or break the bleeder off and try to remove it. Advice?

have you tried heating them, i have never had one i couldnt remove after putting a torch to it.

if you break them off and cannt get it out its not really a big deal if youve thought about new calipers any how

X3 put the heat to it first....If it breaks off I think you will most likely be able to extract the bleeder. But a little heat should do the trick.

one the bleeder, I always weld a nut over the bleeder screw, then right after hit it with the impact, come free or snap off every time!!!!!

1 bleeder came out, one broke.... guess how many calipers I bought? Hint- the paint laid out better on the new one

Scooter, your info was awesome, I followed it to a "t", and it didn't work. It is working now though, which meant all was not lost.

Thanks all. I'm trying to keep things simple- more my style, or lack thereof. I'm getting a little more confident with the bender, but hope to be done with it soon. I added a couple of tubes to it last night. Huge thanks to the friend that owns these tools and gave me a 3-beer tutorial on how to use them. You will remain unnamed due to your non-compete issues that are surely in the fine print, somewhere

Oh, I forgot to mention.... I'm now in absolute getthisfuckerdone mode. Hot Rod magazine anounced that this years Power Tour will be running from Milford to Texas the first week in June and I decided to put together a car that I haven't driven since 02 and hit the road. Wish me luck.
