Never realized that there were actually people that knew what the hell they were doing in Livingston County. I've been playing with my TJ now for a little over a year, but this builds making me think I need to invest in a bigger pole barn

Just a little note: I think this should be your rear bumper/tire carrier. I've been wanting to work with someone to build it. I cant technically "Acquire" one because they're government issue. But still seems like a solid idea.....till the guys in suits show up.

Edit!: YOU CAN BUY IT!

Well seeing something like this build makes me want to buy another jeep and rip into it. Way to go Strangler, I'll have to come see this sometime.

Tub is back on with a couple bolts, same with the armor. Wireing is next- I'm trying to find the wire that feeds the ign switch, and keep just the dash alive.
I switched to 2.5" rear springs since the last time the tub was on, and boy are they tall. I'll wait until I get a cage, seats and fuel in it, but may drop back to a spacer on some factory springs. It's taller than I want it to be, right now.

Thanks Erin. These are radials, so i'm a little scared to hit them with an iron. If I can't get it to sit down any lower I may drop back to 37's of factory rear springs, so I haven't been too concerned with it. I wanted to build it on 39's so they would fit, but 37's wouldn't break my heart.

Do you have a shop manual for the wiring or are you flying blind? If you are flying blind, I can swing by with one.

Thanks John. I have one for a 97, but my Jeep is a 2000, and the fuse box layout is different.

Thanks, That's nice that you can adjust the heim that much! I might have to steal that idea when I link my rearend.

Isn't that how it always works?

Your first in line if I make the change.

Any chance you measured the actual sag between these springs and stock?
