That's cool, I thought it looked like in those pics he was going down (backwards). Too bad there weren't more competitors, but maybe next year it will be a little cheaper and not after 3 comp weekends in a row. There's plenty of guys who would do it, just hard coming up with $300...sounding like a broken record, but it's true. I know to WIN BIG MONEY, you have to PAY BIG MONEY. But, it also helps if you have more competitors.

Yea i think a $100 entry woulda brought more competors inturn making the same or bigger purch then ended up being but either way was a good time and i think they did a great job for being there first event.

When Corey did his run the right way at 11:37, we asked him to run it backwards just for giggles. So, he ran 11:27 backwards.

Thanks to Corey for coming down to run today. Sorry we didn't have anyone for you to run against, but you made out very well against your self.

1st place 11:27
2nd place 11:37
3rd place just for showing up

Great pics and congrats to Jeremy. Looks like a lot of fun.

I can't believe someone with a buggy didn't have a tree saver.

looks like they did a good job maybe a few bugs to work out, so hopefully they will listen to the competetors on the next comp.i had 8 calls asking about it, saying they would go if it was cheaper.$100 would be a good number, you would of had 20 rigs there.drivers meeting at 10 would help also.

The only other thing that might make it a even more fun weekend would be to have a seperate course for 33 - 37's class on a 1/4 mile track at $50 - $100 entry. At $75 entry if you got 20 guys to run you could pay out $500-$400-$300-$200-$100 to the top 5.

I had another though of having a "buddy race" too. You to run 2 winchless ORV's. No power tools/aids allowed. Old school style.

Sweet pictures

Did they take a row of tires off the top of the tire pit? When we were there a week before the comp it had an extra row on the top I believe

Yes, we removed the top row the night before the comp.
It was a last minute decision based on the previous few weeks of watching some very capable rigs fail to get over that third row of tires on top.

We're thinking about putting half of them back on top.
Gives you an option.

Paul,

Awesome Ideas!
This was all discussed this morning over coffee with Rob, Chad, & I for next years comp. (yes, we have started planning all ready)
Thanks for the input, and thanks for coming out to compete.
Great job by you and Jon coming from last place to 3rd by showing huge heart, a lot of ballz, and fantastic sportsmanship.

Thanks again.
