Default In the market for a winch!

Im about to order a winch and was wondering what you guys would prefer a WARN M8000 or Smittybilt XRC-Comp 8.......

I like how the smittybilt comes with synthetic line and is still $90 cheaper! My only concern with the smittybilt is its reliability I know WARN has a great reputation. The Warn is also lighter even with steel cable which i find strange.

Are you able to move the solenoid inside the motor compartment with these winches and is there a good reason to do that?

What would you guys suggest?

I just bought the xrc8 comp.

I like it alot so far. The weight and looks are real nice. I am going to relocate the solenoid in the future. Probably grab a spare too since they can go bad.

On the trail I haven't used it yet so I can't say but it pulled my jeep with the ebrake on on concrete. So it's got some power.

But you can never go wrong with a warn. I would have bought one except for the price I can't afford compared to the smitty. Hope I don't regret it after a few years.
