GM also asked for a bridge loan - not to be taken over by the Feds... I'm sure Jack Wagner did not forsee the possibility that Obama would circumvent the normative business process of a Board of Directors firing him
Who's Jack Wagner?

Was he fired before or after Rick Wagoner?

"Jack" Wagner, II (born October 3, 1959 in Washington, Missouri) is an American singer and actor best-known for appearing on the soap operas General Hospital and Melrose Place.

The tax cuts that are going to expire will only affect those who make over 200,000$ and it will only effect them on the money they make that is over 200,000$. It's not like Obama's raising their taxes, he's allowing a temporary tax cut to expire.

LOL, playing semantics I see. What's the difference if the result is the same?

Nice comic, but that's all, just a comic. I think $5,000,000 in 1941 to which the top rate applied was a little bit more than $200,000 today, both nominally and in real terms.

It was a temporary cut, that didn't seem to work out. So it will expire.

it's an increase vs. what he promised the electorate while on the campaign trail. for many small business - which most would view as part of the middle class it's another lie on this promise:

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-me...-any-form-tax/

Yes, compared to historical over-taxation it is a pittance to move it to 40% - and yes one can point to all sorts of statistics that "prove" that there is a larger income gap between the rich and the middle class today, then in previous years.

So what? Depending on which side one is, there is no such thing as a "fair" income tax, because based purely on logic, and/or mathematics one can easily dispute the definition of fair and show one side or the other is being taxed disproportionately - the poor will state that their share is a higher percentage of their disposable income - the rich will always talk about how much in total they pay, and/or a percentage of their total income - and the politicians of both side will sing, dance and lie to get votes.

Wrong. A tax increase on ANY segment of the economy will affects all other segments of the economy. Guessing you missed a few Econ 101 classes.
