The only thing I can say is that at least the Wrangler will somewhat, inexplicably, hold its value for the next 20 years. The Land Rover will be worth 12% of its original purchase price after 2...and probably cost you 20x more in repairs.

I think Jay Leno said something like British cars are good for insecure people because they NEED you.

I want one of these:

But I just can't seem to justify $45-50k for something that really does nothing more than get me from A-B and looks kinda neat.

Its also REALLY fucking small.

The new Evoque (sp?) is pretty awesome looking.
I've only seen one in person at a hotel in Vegas (display in the sports book).

They look pretty cool. When I get in a new car in a year or 2 I would think I would look at them.

Who fucking knows?
I like a lot of cars....prolly why I tend to get rid of them at the 12-15 month period.

lol nice....thats what Im afraid of with LR3....My bro in law bought a 01 discovery in 02 and now it has 165k miles on it, and it has been very reliable....but I hear the LR3s not so much.

BTW the new Evoque (sp) does look awesome but major chedder for a car 70% the size of an escape. I saw one at the sema show this last year it looked cool.

The Land Rover dealer in Farmington Hills had a few of them and I stopped and looked at them. Parking next to it made my JK look like a Superduty sitting next to a Focus.

In 2 years the convertible might be a reality...
