thx bud appreciate your support n i plan on having a wrenching party at some point in time just not sure yet. N ya white lake is right about 2.5 hours from me, I grew up in the area still have friends and family down there. the last place i lived was off Ormand Rd. on Warmbrier. One of the problems with the wrenching party is my job, for example i just found out I'm leaving tomorrow for Utah when on Friday i wasn't supposed to go there til the end of the week so things r always changing. But atleast I'm making $

Looks good Vinnie, you going to have it done for next Drummond trip? You know how we like putting battle scares on new builds.

Jake will still be in Iraq on r next Drummond trip but maybe he will be able to make the September trip if work allows for it. Of course maybe i can talk him into letting me use it to tow mine up there.

First off thanks for your up coming contribution to the safety of r nation, n ft benning is where jake went to basic I believe.
Second we r using a tranny out of a hemi Commander with t-case. But we were told that the stock case will hold the power, we thought about using a manual trans but Hotwire Auto doesn't currently have a program for that with the 6.1 n they r the only manufacturer of the wiring harness for hemi conversions, up can't get them front other places but they get then from these guys. Hotwire also has an awesome tech service.

So I'll be home late monday night n Tuesday I'll go get the parts for the motor, n hopefully cut out the factory motor mounts. Build lifting brackets for the new motor. Then I got to call the guy thats supposed to pick up the tranny and find out where the hell it is since it was supposed to be delivered almost 2 months ago.

Got the motor mounts in this week and got them on today as well as the new valve cover, by then my son woke up so it was back to the house for me. Now as far as the tranny goes the guy that was supposed to deliver it last week has yet to show up or answer his phone. Bastard!

well here's an update for those of you that r watching, Got the material for making the motor lifting brackets cause the cheapest i can find is $600 on ebay for torched plates of steel, this is where Hemi's suck. But I haven't been home long enough to fab them up. AS far as the Trans STILL F****** WAITING!
