6.0 ps diesel miss when warm no mil

my uncle has a 6.0 power-stroke 4x4 van that has a miss when warm. he was driving down the road and hit a big heave supposedly tossed the van sideways and when he came to the next light he had a miss. took the van home checked the oil level and everything was fine but had a miss. let it cool down for a day went out and started it everything was fine. drove it around until it warmed up and miss was back. with no mil light on or anything its hard to find the problem but he thinks its a EGR because its the only thing that is effected by warming up. and him hitting the big heave he thinks he knocked some soot loose or something..... any thoughts or have it happen?

Are you able to look at mode 6 data, that may help identify what cylinder or cylinders are missing

If its not an injector it could be a wiring harness rub through on the engine harness. From what I understand it is more common of the vans with the 6.0L.

Did you get it figured out? My thoughts would be a high pressure oil leak or injector.
Vans are a PITA! Good luck.
