Default Want to Rent: Prime or Fast Zoom Lens

I'm headed up to MI for the week and plan on going to our friend's daughters Vball game. It's on Wed the 29th.

I'm looking to rent a f/2.8 zoom or a big prime lens for the evening.

If anyone can hook me up that would be great. I was shocked to not be able to find a camera joint that rented lens. I searched for about an hour so if you know of one that would also be great!

Thanks guys!

http://www.rentglass.com/

http://www.borrowlenses.com/

I have not rented from either of these, but they should both have what you want. They rent the high end full sized sensor camera bodies too.

I've used lensrentals.com before and they were very competitive in price and time.

Find a used one, buy it, use it, resell it for the same amount. Lens really don't lose value in the short term. That idea might be a little overboard for your project.

Have fun being the creeper at the volleyball games with the telephoto lens.

I've used rentglass before and had good success. Just waited a little to long.

True and lol on the creepster . . I see how that might come across.

Good idea. I'll see what Craigslist has to offer since it's pretty instant.
