“To have a the Quran burned at a mosque is equivalent to having a cross burned at a black church,” said CAIR-MI Executive Director Dawud Walid, blaming a Florida pastor for inciting such events all over the United States on the ninth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

It wasn't me, I swear .

But seriously, It wasn't. I know plenty of people who go to that Mosque because I lived a couple doors down from it. They've never been aggressive with thier faith, not any more then the Lutheran church next door or the Methodist church down the road. The biggest aggression I've seen is them trying to get more cars parked in thier parking lot (By price or people on the median) then in ours on football games. And When I say 'ours' I literally mean ours. Our ministry has a Campus house on Sever and we park cars there every Home foot ball Game. However, they also Compete with the other churches and the School down the road. :D

It's a Shame there are people, probably of my faith, that feel this way. I also feel that the "Prayer meeting" they had the night of or before was a bit too liberal though. That's a Personal belief thing though. They called them our fellow brothers and sisters.....They aren't. They believe in a Bastardization of our God. BUT, they are human beings and have the right to worship how ever they want. It doesn't effect our ministry or any other people's lives. The Person responsible for this is a D-Bag and If I find out it was a person from my Ministry, they will be...er......talked to Sternly.

And they feel the same way about your religion.

I really hope all religions will eventually recognize the right to worship of those that don't think like them.

I am quite aware that they think the same way about my religion. My job is to let them know what the consequences of that worship means from the standards set by MY God. They can do whatever they want. I don't care. I can't make them change thier mind or heart. I wish they would turn because I know, per my belief, where they are going and I don't want anybody to go there.

How can burning a book be charged as a hate crime? It wasn't like they were burning a person or anything?

You do realize that your god, the god of abraham, is the same god that they worship, right?
Same guy the jews worship too.

Yes. I do.

Per my Belief, though, they are not part of the group of people that receive the blessing that Abraham Gave. That means they are not part of the Jewish 'Family'. Christianity is the fulfilled version of the Jewish faith. Those of us (Me included) who are not Jewish are Adopted into God's family through our belief in God's only son, Jesus Christ. That he Died for our sins so we could Die with him (Symbolically called Baptism by many) and be reborn as Children of God. Children that are able to receive the full benefits of God's Provision and calling.

The Islamic Faith does not believe Christ is the Savior; They are not part of the Jewish inheritance; so they are not brothers or sisters of God in that sense. They will not Inherit the Kingdom of God because they have fallen for a very close, but wrong (Per my beliefs) religion. If the God of the Bible says he is who is his, he would not have one of faiths be different then the other. Jesus would not say " I am the only way to God" (Paraphrased) and then have Islam teach you have to work to get to God. There is a HUGE difference right there.
