Default Welding

I'm about ready to do my swap and my welding skills are good enough for redoing shock mounts, fusing my control arms, but I'm somewhat hesitant to do axle bracketry on a 8.8 to TJ swap. I can run a somewhat good bead, but not consistently yet(slag), boogering things up. Any takers with experience in this in GR area?
