Got the 8.8 out just need to make a truss for the rear 60 then new frame mounts and coil buckets and we're good. Then on to the front, gunna get coil, shock, LCA mount from ballisticfab.com cuz its an all in one mount so that will be nice, then all I'll need is upper arm mounts so this should go pretty smooth I think. Well I'm hoping so.
thanks

You might try sending a PM to Chop (aka Sinister FabWorks) for your tabs and mounts. Not sure of what you're looking for exactly, but I know he's got some parts built. He's got some high quality, very stout parts that he builds.

I wouldnt order from ballistic fab... I just ran around for 2 months with them on brackets/tabs. Ended up ordering them from http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com plus they have a gl4x4 discount

If you do order I would defiantly call and make 100% sure they have it in stock or you'l get some bs about the cutter being down and they'll send it out next week

Well I've gotten both the axles out from under the jeep gettin rdy to swap in the dana 60s

My plan is to leave my front arms the way they are get coil/shock/LCA mounts then make a truss for the drivers side upper and make a mount for the passenger side upper.
For the rear I'm gunna leave my lower arms straight and triangulate the upper and build a truss to mount them, for the frame mounts I'll buy em and weld em in. Might make my rear coil buckets for the axle or I might buy em I dont know yet.
thanks

38sx16x16.5 but they are on like 8 wide rims and I'll prolly end up getting some weld on beadlocks to widen em out a bit
I'm also going to trim the rear a little bit, I have tube fenders in the front so that gives me a lot of room up there

Dude, don't waste your time and money with the weld on locks for those wheels, you will regret it when you are rolling inner beads .Just get a set of H1 wheels and recenter them then you don't have to worry.

Agreed. Best bang for your buck when it comes to a 16.5 wheels with beadlocks. I also recommend the Pressed centers over the flat plate centers when you re-center them.

I was gunna start looking for a set of H1s but why do u like them over just the weld on ones for the rims I have?
I wanna say the ones I have r either 7-8 inch wide so that would make em almost a 10wide rims with the weld ons.
H1 rims r pricey but I do like em

Theres no comparison between H1s and weld on beadlocks. The H1s are dual beadlocked, where the weldons only "lock" the outter rim. The rims are 7'' wide if i remember correctly.

The problem with 16.5s is the bead angle,I don't know the numbers right off hand but they don't stay seated very well with out the locks. You can pick up a set of stock H1s for not much more than you would have into a set of weld on locks and as for the centers check out MadMac performance machine or Trailworthy.Just cut down the mag runflats and welding the centers in is no big deal.

The real answer is to get completely away from 16.5's.

Why?What other size rim can you do a double beadlock for around $200 a wheel.I haven't lost air from a bead in 5 years, when I used to run weldon locks on 16"s I rolled inner beads a couple times a year.

x22343 if your going to run a H1. I wish I had run these on my H1's when I had them.

Build looks good.
