Next on the build list
HP dana 30 front with 4.88 gears
Detroit locker for my 8.8 rear axle
4.88 gears for 8.8 axle
Look into ram assist steering
37x13x15 boggers
And start to get stuff around for the 350 swap
first I need an engine stand to put it on, go thru all the seals and gaskets and redo them. Do a fresh oil change, get all the stuff I'd need and start doing it, but like I said I'm taking my time on this.

Nice tj- nice pics, Id love to come up to Frankfort and see it sometime (i have a 4 cylinder tj myself and always love to shoot the crap and get some good idea's)

and i also seen that you could use an engine stand- i have one that's been sitting in my shed for the last 2 years that i got brand new- built 2 engines on it- don't really plan on putting another together anytime soon- you could borrow it if i could get it back sometime within the next 3 years without having to kidnapp your dog to hold for ransom lol (its a nice 4 wheeled one)

Well I went out to twisted trails to really test out the rig and i broke the rear drive shaft, damaged the passenger side of the windshield frame and broke both from clips off my hard top. Fun but expensive day, here is the one and only pix i got from the day of me on the ram

for the front axle you'll save a lot of money by just putting a 44 together. if you get a wagoneer 44, I believe your looking at 62" iirc, which would match your 60.5" rear axle perfectly. then for 5x4.5 you swap out ford hubs and rotors. theirs write ups everywhere on it.

another option would be a JK dana 44 which is stronger, and comes with a locker.. but I believe their 64" wide, so you would have to run adapters on the rear to match the bolt pattern, and width. then of course you'll need some 5x5 beadlocks to go with em.

otherwise jeep looks great. I'll be watching for updates.

We're either thinking about going to that or if our buddy frank lets us go out there we'll go there since its free ya know, I'll let ya know either way always nice to add another rig to the pack. I'd like to see ur ranger anyways, was looking thru ur build thread and it looks nice man like to see it in action. Plus I can't wait to see these boggers perform

Went out the the xmas tree burning party yesterday and man was there a lot of snow out here. I was the first one to go back to picker valley and on man I was plowing snow with the front of my jeep it was awesome. Had a great time, waiting on my buddy to get me the pix he took should be some good video too. Only got stuck a couple times and I was high centered on my pigs so I need bigger tires now i'm thinking 37 boggers. My little dana 30 front end help up nicely but I'm thinking about building a 9in to put in front so possibility have more to add soon.

Well after dog party and breaking 3 different axle shafts I'm picking up a high pinion 2moro. I'm going to have to regear the front so I figured I might as well get 4.88s so gunna order then at the end of the week. Get that high pinion installed then after that I wanna order up some alloy shafts. I plan to keep my lockright locker. So once I do all this I'll get some more pix up.
I didn't get any pix of it up yet with the boggers but she looks nice with the wider skins, heres the best I got

Well plans have changed a few times on what I'm doing with this jeep, now the plans are to buy a set of dana 60s from a buddy with full hydro steering so if everything goes as planned I'll have the axles soon and start gettin em rdy to slap in. I'll post up some pix when I get em.
thanks
