Damn dude, sounds like a bad week..

Why did they deny your license? 2nd DUI, and you were before the board?

2nd dui, reasoning was along the lines of my mom not being too vague about the last time I drank was and some bs about my evaluation from my counselor. I hadd all the aa sheets and plenty of counseling. It was one of his first few weeks on the job so apparently he wants the image of being a hard ass. Ive been goin through all their bs for a year and at the same time graduated from college, how the f am I supposed to find a job now

My moms a lawyer and has already torn his report apart, so Ill be takin it to circuit court

You aren't the first I've heard of being denied for such reasons. The basically have a set percentage which will be denied, and they look for reasons to meet that number.

Gunsworth, I don't mean to start any here but I don't think you should ever be allowed to drive again. I don't think drunk driving laws are strict enough. Almost three years ago my girlfriend of two years was killed by a drunk driver, and I got to the hospital and saw her die. I don't have much sympathy, if any, for people who drink and drive. The guy who hit her was on a suspended license and was on his 5th DUI. He's now in jail for manslaughter.

If anything, I hope you learned from your mistake and never do it again.

my life this past year has been a huge statement about how messed up life can get. I've done a little bit of "poor me", but mostly we keep our chin up.

no matter how bad it gets, (within reason) it can always get worse.

and honestly, one of the best quotes I've ever seen goes something like this:
"we have no right to question why bad things happen to us, if we don't also question the extremely joyous times..."

it's human nature to think that life should be grande all the time.

You only got a suspended lic. for one year after your 2nd DUI? My opinion is, you should have gotten jail time. I do not drink and drive, nor do I drink and ride.

I have seen drunks on the road, and it is a scary thing. Always seems to be the inocent others who get hurt when a drunk crashes. Sorry dude, I could care less if you ever get to drive again.

Everything works out in the end. Always for the better. And yes, life is grand. So don't forget you will be dead within the next 70-80 years and nothing will matter then. :D:

sorry to hear about the situation with your cousin and his fiance and thier child, that truley is sad for the child...

i am glad you do not have a license right now...you should not be driving if you have driven intoxicated...NO PITTY THERE AT ALL...think of how f'd up your life would be if you killed an innocent person becauase of your idiotic decision to drive intoxicated? end of discussion...
