anyone could sell them for cash only difference is, is that i'm honest i might try to sell a few things. but by the sounds of it is that the wheels and rear axle would be the only things worth tryin to sell then scrap the body.........but anyone could say that they're takin it simply to scrap it then turn around and sell every last piece off it. if your lookin to get rid of it, i'll take it

Jeepaholc92

You won't make enough money. It 100 miles away. Drive your new truck straight to ground for this one. That just bad way to do with new truck.

Maybe you don't have bought new truck that you thought you can afford.

Get free stuff from member then try sell to another members here you just greedy!!!

still sounds like a dick move, lesson here is if you cant afford it dont have it. the o.p. is a great guy and has helped me out in the past and if it was going to be sold off dont you think he would do this his self? looks like a guy trying to help someone get started on a project, not pay for their obligations. its too bad people on here are always looking to take advantage of each other instead of help each other out. i dont know maybe i just need to sleep. but you sir have put a bad taste in my mouth and i will never do business with you.

How dare he help the guy get a hunk of shit out of his yard and then take the time to pull parts off it to make a buck. What a bunch of whiners.

You sir are a JackAss. The idea behind this was to give axles and a t-case to someone for a project or to help them if their stuff is broken in these though economic times. And then scrap the rest to offset the cost of picking it up.
Beaner is right a lot of the people on here just screw each other over, I raised my son better that and people that have dealt with him will tell you that.
So keep your Jackass opinion to yourself this doesn't concern you.
Why do you feel the need to feed the Drama need on this site? It is jackasses like you that just stir up shit. Novi isn't far from Farmington if you don't agree.
Jackass.

He wanted to pick up the truck. It was offered for free. He was going to spend his time and money to pick up and part said truck. Why is everyone getting so pissed that he was going to sell the parts?

Is your time worth nothing? Gas certainly isn't free. If you were given a house and 10 years later wanted to move somewhere else, would you give the house away? If your parents gave you a car when you got your license and down the road you were getting a new car, wouldn't you trade it in (i.e sell to the dealer)?

Sounds like a few people were pissed that someone got in line before them and they missed out on the free parts.

And if it were the other way around and he said he was coming to get it then HE backed out and quit replying, he would still be getting flamed.
Do you all sell things for exactly what you paid for them? Have you never gotten something for free and later on decided you didn't want it so you figured you could make a couple of dollars for your time?? I have. I have also sold things (or given them away) for much less than I had into them because someone seemed nice and I tried to help them out.
I just don't understand what the hostility is all about. Unless I missed something here (and I may have) He said he'd take the free item, is still trying to come get it, and was honest that he'd possibly try to sell a few items from it. Why the big deal?

This guy will probably pay an assload of money in gas to pick up the vehicle, maybe need to rent a trailer as well, then will have to take all the worthy parts off the vehicle, possibly clean them up for better sales, take time to take pics of them and post them up on CL or here or what have you, deal with the cheapasses on this board and CL wanting to lowball something that will probably already be low as fukc anyway, maintain his threads and ads on CL, pay an assload of gas and perhaps another trailer rental to scrap the leftovers and shell... you tell me if there is a profit to be had or not.
Don't get me wrong, I usually buy stuff to sell later at the same price I bought it for, thus basically being a "free rented" item. I've gotten parts for free that I've given away, usually to avoid this crap and usually because the parts are so inexpensive that free is hard enough to sell to people anyway. I've probably turned a few profits in my time as well... although usually at the expense of the time I wasted.

I don't think Jeepaholc92 is out of line one bit. Masterbeatty doesn't want it anymore. This guy wants it. Who cares what he does with it after he gets it. It is his at that point. He can do with it what he wants. Quit being such asses.

If you're worried that someone might get paid for doing some hard work because you didn't want to, tough shit. That's your problem, not theirs. You aren't entitled to shit, regardless of how someone came into possession of their wares.

Its gone so everyone can stop bitchn, it was myne I can give it to whoever I feel should have it plain and simple. I gave it to someone that needs it for themselfs whitch is why I put it up in the first place, it was not to sell parts off of it I could have done that and made money myself.
