MBRP performance series diesel exhaust

http://www.xtremediesel.com/mbrpperf...ts6126plm.aspx

had the muffler blow apart on our 05 cummins about a month ago, so we temporarily patched it trying to save money for the time being.

well about a week ago the tail pipe tore out of the muffler... so that was the sign to purchase a new muffler. while looking for a cheap muffler solution for this truck, we really didn't find one. so i figured hell it couldn't be much louder than it was with a 6x6inch hole in the muffler. so we searched for a suitable exhaust kit and came across this MBRP kit, i've heard the name thrown around the diesel community so figured it couldn't be all bad. we found this straight pipe system, turbo to tail with all factory hangers. $260, can't really beat that.

tonight i put one cut in the factory system, took it down in 2 pieces.

the v-clamp for the down pipe gave me a little shit, i think the flange was a little different flare. but everything else fell together, all hangers were perfect, everything bolted together and fit the truck great.

the truck runs and sounds good to me, obviously a little louder but it's straight piped.

i'd recommend this system to anyone looking for a cheap replacement to their stock system. 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, however you want to put it.

I run a full 4" turbo back exhaust on my 02 Super Duty and love it, its a high quality easy to install exhaust for the price
