Default Need some help with pictures....

I hope someone can help me with this. I'm afraid I'm all old school, don't know anything about digital. I got married 3 weeks ago. My dinosaur film camera has been broken for about a year now and I haven't been able to afford to replace it yet. It was a 5 minute courthouse ceremony and the only camera around was my friends cell phone. We got the pictures from the cell phone to the computer and to the CD. When I try to enlarge the pictures on my computer, they get too fuzzy. I took the CD in to Rite Aid today to get prints made and the machine said the images were "unuseable" Does anyone know how I can get these pictures enlarged...I'd like to have prints made. I have no printer for my computer and even if I did, the pictures are so small, and like I said, I'm having no luck resizing them. Thanks for any and all advice.

Sadly, he is right.

I would suggest coughing up some cash and getting a photographer for some poses.

Ok they will still look bad but you might be able to have them printed as wallets... Just so you can have prints.

Now I just gotta say... WTF were you thinking it's 2010!!!! You couldn't spend $10 on POS throw away camera so you would a least have some photos of your freaking wedding.

They are fuzy because the resolution is crap. Anytime you try and enlarge something past its native resolution is actually creating pixels to make up for it instead of just already being there and being shrunk down.

At BEST you could put them into Photoshop or Lightroom and see if they look decent when enlarged slightly and maybe sharpened. When you save them you should be able to take that back to rite aid for print.

Edit: BTW I hope you are kidding about all this...

BigBlkYJ~I wish I were kidding :- ( my daughter-in-law tried to do them in photo shop, no luck.

Thanks to all for your help. Not the answers I was hoping for, but thanks.

I would be willing to try on a couple. It's not easy and you WONT get perfect results, but I have been able to enlarge crappy small low res shots and make them look decent. I did it with one I took from my old cell phone and my parents have it hanging on their wall. I did it with another my uncle took from super far away and it turned out alright. Email me your best or favorite one ryan@infinetic.com and I will see what I can do.

Not promising anything...but ill try
