Well got it home today and found a few thing's i need to work on.
need's a fan shroud
kick down cable need's adjusted shift's way to quick
need to figure out what's up with steering drive's good but going around curve's is a little scary think i'll try an alignment first and go from there
i don't like the irok's so they will be for sale or trade for a radial mud ta
need's some kind of anti axle wrap bar for the rear
some other misc stuff but it run's good and even the cruise work's so not to bad and nothing to bad right now. any body know the proper way to adjust the kick down cable or any advice on the problem's listed above has been along time since i have had something like this so i am a little rusty on the old school stuff. need to fix a couple of small dent's and minor surface rust but there are not rust hole's and is rock solid also gonna cut the roof and install a truck bed cover from a ranger or s10 step side so i can have some kind of open top i have done this before and work's really well.

Well fixed a couple dent's and did a little body work, had the daughter work on getting the 27yr old pin stripe off she got about half of it off. Also got the kick down cable adjusted and now shift's good.

I like those tires. You should definatly do a pearl white on that. it would look sweet up at silver lake.

Well me and the daughter did a little work today fixing some ding's and stone chip's and it sure is nice not fixing rust hole's and rot. Every thing we have takin of so far gas come right off useing a 3/8 or 1/2 inch ratchet so nice not dealing with rusted bolt's. I'll have her working underneath tommorrow cleaning the frame and floor pan's so we can get them painted, was trying to paint it next week but my dad passed away last sunday and the funeral was yesterday now we have to take care of the rest of the stuff so won't have a lot of time for a week or so.

Sweet ride! I've always loved those.

A few years back I was up in Canada on a trip and exploded the front in my Sami, A couple of guys with a full-size Cherokee invited me to ride along with them on the last day of the trip. It had 1 tons, 203/205 doubler, and some other cool stuff. They wheeled the wee out of it, and it was a great performing rig. I'm planning on building one similar someday (after I finish the other 20 or so projects I want to do first)

The irok's were a little big they rubbed and actually flexed enough that it folded the rocker when the rear tire hit it and not a big fan of bias ply tire's.
