car stolen tonight

This afternoon my bro was cleaning out his girlfriends car (don't ask me why) it was idiling in the front driveway he can in to wash off the cup holder, i followed him outside as we were talking and the car was gone.

He did a double take like WTF ? Sure enough someone stole it. Its a leased chevy malibu. Our neighborhood is turning into a hell hole. Last night it was a car jacking at gun point at the gas station, then this afternoon the car gets stolen.

nah i am exagertaing its still nice thats pretty much a crime wave for my neighborhood, its jsut disapointing they stole it right out of our drive way with 5 people home with the front door open, in broad daylight. We really do have amonst the lowest crime in the state, it was just took balls of steel. My bro is pretty big an tough guy played college football, state champ wrestler with bad temper he would have killed the guy. Oh well it will be interesting to see if it ever turns up.

I don't doubt your brother is tough, but I do doubt that he could tackle or wrestle a Chevy to the ground.....

The lease car can be replaced, your brother can't.

This happened to a work truck last month.. We had a 500 dollar deductible, that was it..

This vehicle still hasn't been located. The insurance company waited 30 days to issue a check.

Thats cool, I just know that leaving a run car or truck unattened is against in most states now.

yeah even if it isn't against the law or a violation of the policy he is still an idiot brother. Like they say you get to pick your friends not your family. Its totally his fault he made it too easy. The crappy thing besides the deductible was all the stuff she had in the car, purse, cash, jacket, cds, pictures, all that stuff.

Maybe it was easy, but the point still remains that it was HIS, not the person who took it. It shouldn't matter where the damn keys were. You still should have a resonable expectaion that it won't drive away.

Well...forgot, damn trolls are always ripping each other off.

I don't lock my house...doesn't mean you can come over and move in. I'll shoot ya just the same as if you kicked the door in.

Grandpa always said..."A lock is only to keep an honest man honest."

Howz that for a bunch of random thoughts?
