In europe the liberty is called the cherokee and it is still produced.. Tow rating with braked trailer it 3360kg -- for gofastbobby that is 7392lbs
http://www.jeep.co.uk/jeep/versions.aspx?ID=444,3,97

That's probably another reason I feel perfectly fine towing the trailer I do.

You Ain't Kiddin'
And even the body was 3 jeeps pieced together..
I've since got a decent YJ tub, a newly accuired CJ grill from PP.
So it'll be a little more Jeep..
I should have started with a YJ frame or just made my own in rebuilding it but I decided to stay with the c channel frame even though there is only 8' of it left.. I bobbed the back and it's all tube now.. The front is also all tube.. I dropped the body down to the frame so it at least looks normal..
Should have my shocks and steering here this week and then I can start running more tube..

Sorry for going off topic..

The only way it is safe to tow a trailer longer than the tow vehicle is when it is attached to a semi truck.

CRDs are backed by the 545re. I believe it's essentially the 5 speed version of the 45re. I only know this because I had to get a new pan last month.

Echo.

In europe they actually rate the liberty diesel higher than the WJ because the hitch is closer to the centerline of the wheelbase or something like that.. And since the KJ had issues in the begining with roll over and what not they stiffened the hell outta the bushings and actually gave it some real shocks to help control the roll.. I've towed with my Dad's 4.7 WJ and it's got a mushy kinda feel to it.. It also feels much higher than mine.. Oh and I got new tires for it to.. I wouldn't tow very much with the piece of garbage goodyears that come on it.. I put Kumho A/T LT tires on it.. A load range d tire.. It took almost all the sway out along with the sway bar.. I just use the one sway bar though..

Carry On
Good call on the tire change.

I apologize for being a dumbass yesterday. I don't want you to fukc off and die. If you're headed through kzoo anytime, throw me a pm, I'll buy you a bjeer, the least I could do for being a jackass.
