94 explorer issues

Longer you drive it the less it wants to rev. Not related to coolant temp. Changed plugs/wires, cat, mass air, fpr, fuel filter, o2, and coil. Good fuel pressure, vacuum when acting up. Runs awesome for about 15 min. More if its cooler outside. Then it starts hitting a rpm wall about 3500 and gets worse to where it will only idle. Shut off and restart and it will be slightly better let it sit for an hour and its normal. No codes are thrown. Egr tps? Idk. Thanks for any help. I havr another motor that ran and that's where parts except fuel filter are from. Compression is also over 120. Motor has 178k.

sounds like its just getting hot. might have a faulty gauge saying its running cool but its really overheating. try a thermostat.
