The dealer offered us 12K for our 05 Trailblazer with 30K miles on it for trade in. What a joke we still owe 17K guess will keep it for awhile longer. But since we cannot trade that in we would like my vehicle to be a little more versatile. The ext cab is just too small for a baby seat the passenger bucket has to be all the way forward and almost straight up and down. The middle part of my bench doesn't slide forward or I could put it there and obviously it cannot go behind my seat.

The baby seat fits perfectly in the middle of the back seat of my superduty. I have the same seats as yours have you tried it?

I thought that I replied to this yesterday I have the rear facing little guy seat with the sub base that is larger than a forward facing seat. I have tried it several times. The only way that it works is pushing the passenger seat almost all the way to the dash and nearly straight up and down and it is still really tight. Because my center console doesn't move cannot put it in the middle of the rear seat at all and behind my seat is out of the question so basically I need an Excursion (that's the story that I am telling my wife :)

Yeah but we have two bases for this one already and he's about ready to grow out of this one anyway. It was all the reason that I needed to by and Ex been waiting for years for the prices to come down. Another bonus for the kids is that I can't reach them to wring their necks in the Ex :tonka:
