So are your planning on still doing the 4 races for the Rock Crawl Tour and then also 4 races like the Trail Master Challenge? Or are you getting rid of the rock crawl events?

I'll tell ya what I'd like to see at the next race. On the Blue Trail there is 2 extreme lines and 2 very easy lines. I'd like to see you guys throw a bunch of boulders and concrete slabs down the easy lines, that way when a few competitors get to that spot at the same time, there is 4 challenging lines to choose from. It would really make the course interesting and it would make it a good spot for spectators to watch. I'd like to see another area have a wide rock section also.

yes we are keeping the rock tour as of now. good idea about a few tough lines on the blue hill will take that in mind.

My .02 cents ...

For a lessor class,

35 and under tire.

Non stock axles OK, otherwise you will knockout any small IFS conversion rigs. 8.8 jeeps etc...

Instead of lift max, set a max breakover angle, center clearence divided by wheel base. This would help equalized manfacture
differences. You may want to throw in max wheelbase, and max center clearance to keep this under control and not give say pickups a huge advantage on rocks. I would guess the when laid out the max w.b. and breakover would not equal the max breakover. Thus not encourage everyone to just a long wheelbase rig. Likewise on a short wheelbase you will not hit max center clearence. This also makes what skid you do or don't have a non issue for tech.

Coilovers not allowed ??

If your wanting to keep some of the stock body confines, add a max approach angle. Departure ??

Breakover & approach angles cannot improve during run (scrape off parts lol)

Will there be a series? If so will it be all at TT? I enjoyed watching, it was cool, but the competitors looked to be having a lot of fun. Depending on what the classes are and where my FJ is at, I'm in. I want to have fun too!

The course is great, could have a few more difficult spots besides holy moly, maybe some log piles out in the valley to cross. Also you could reverse the direction in a series, which means less work for you in preparation of the course.

definitely keep it fast and technical, I just think there should be 1 maybe 2 spots where it's hardcore wide section rocks where spectators can see some crazy rock racing passing maneuvers.

I'm just giving you a hard time Dale, you guys did a excellent job for the first event of its kind in Michigan. I guess you don't need everyone breaking before the time limit is up. Actually my drive train doesn't always handle your courses so well as it is. It was a nice balance.....
