Are you relying on that cage for protection?

That's not what I meant....I was just going to make a comment that it looks very unsupported and I wouldn't trust it in a role, but I'll let you figure that out the hard way.

No need to worry, its built as strong as the fiberglass topper that came from the factory. The bottom is tied into the frame. Yes, in a side rollover the cage will bend/(fiberglass topper would crush) It is a family cage for the Dunes, (not designed by me) that is it. It is not for rock crawling or trail riding. If I were to keep it, I would add the infamous triangulation and a few more cross bars.
Thank You for being concerned about me and the family. I understand you are just trying to educate someone who you think may be ignorant in cage building.

I know you're not ignorant, you probably don't remember it but we've met (I sold you something I think?). I honestly was just trying to look out for ya.

I know, that is why I posted the last thread. Again thanks for your concerns. Sometimes I don't exactly type what I mean to say. Please accept my apology.

Did some exhaust work, added a new airconditioning pump, and belt, and swap out the muds, for a set of streetable 35's.

Replaced the air line tube between the heads on the back of the motor last night. NOT ONE OF FORD'S BETTER DESIGNS. The two bolts came out, but I physically could not reach the passenger side with out taking out the inner fender and the transmission dipstick tube. Took me three hours, with my popeye forearms and size 15 fingers.
It looks like the whole exhaust needs to be dropped now and made a little more simple. Cats are plugged, so time to scrap them and buy new.

Spent all day,..........but now the Bronco is sportin' a brand new 3" exhaust system with a 40 series Flowmaster. The three inch tail pipe will be added by the new owner.

The exhaust sounds great, has some "feel it in the seat" extra horse power as well. Those stock cats were realy plugged apparently.

Apparently the new exhaust is at the right frequency to set off car alarms.
The parking lot at work, was fun this morning.
