what got messed up at R&V?

Double check ALL your frame brackets. My Bronco really isn't that rusty. In fact the tube underneath is pretty darn clean.

But I've had to replace both rear shackle hangers and shackles, and the other day I noticed I'm going to have to replace the front coil buckets too. I can only assume the radius arm brackets and front spring hangers for the back springs will need to be replaced soon too.

BTW Hefty Fabworks sells a rear shackle flip, and has options in lift height depending on how much you want to lift. From stock, 2.5" and 4". All in the brackets. Of course then longer shackles could net some lift once they are flipped.

I"ve been working on it over the winter. Replaced the front suspension, added a leveling lift, and I replaced the front fenders and rear quarters.
This is all in preperation to sell. The fiberglass that I originally planned to use for this build is being put on my Flareside instead.
There is someone who really wants this Bronco so I'm bringing it back to original with a minor suspension lift, custom bumpers, and paint. He has a YJ that he wants to trade.
Here are couple shots of the rear quarters during replacement procedures, with more pictures to come:

Thumbs up

Did a little more prep work today, and tomorrow I will reassemble the front end. If I have time I might even put the front drive shaft on.

I like how its coming together but I'm thinking it will never be as awesome as jhnyquest's 151 proof buggy, that thing is down right Sexy.

I've gotten a little farther on the body work.........looks like I'm going to run this at the dunes this week in primer, then next week I will do the finish sanding and primer for the paint booth. I just cant seem to get as much done as I want too.

The last two pictures are showing the small bulge of the rear fenders at the Body line. I tried to get a little extra curve here but after all the work I put into it, it just really wasn't enough to make a difference.

Looks like it will be the new Mopar Green that they are putting on the Wranglers...........not my favorite, but it shouldn't look to bad.
