Default Chevy 8 Lug Dana 44 and front suspension parts - SOLD

I am parting this axle out, please see the bottom post after viewing pictures...

I am selling my Dana 44 front end. It's from a 1976 Chevrolet K20 (3/4 ton truck) The parts have about 10k miles on them since installation. During installation it was sandblasted, primed, and painted. Then I installed all new ball joints, tie rod ends, seals, brake rotors, brake calipers, etc. New Warn premium hubs were also installed. It still has the factory 4.10 gears, open differential, and factory axles.

In addition I procured flat top knuckles, for the ORD high steer arm. Also an ORD HD front tie rod with heim joints. I am selling it complete wiith crossover all the way to the pitman arm (steering box not included).

It should work with 4 - 6 inches of lift. Also, I will be selling the 6" Tuff Country EZ Ride front springs seperately or included if you wish.

I am including pictures of the actual axle, but it does have a lot more road grime and dirt on it now (still no rust though). If you can't see the pictures e-mail me and I will send them to you. These pictures are from installation. I did not drive it in the salt. But did drive it in mud, sand, and dirt since then.

heathfolk@comcast.net

Also, currently the axle is still in the truck in operation, I plan to remove it sometime in early July.

Asking $350 OBO. I live near Waterford, MI

I'm parting it out. Let me know if you need any Chevy front Dana 44 parts. Crossover is already sold.

I have:

- housing
- 4.10 gears and open carrier - $25
- 8 lug wheel hubs - $35
- matching warn premium manual locking hubs, excellent condition (external style, with upgraded stainless smaller allen head bolts) - $75 ($230 new)
- axle shafts $20
- heavy duty(1/4" thick) brake backing plates with low mileage larger piston calipers and newer hardware. $30
- spindles $25 (both)

Also:

- 6" tuff country EZ-ride springs (stock front length) $50
- Rancho 9000 adjustable shocks (correct length for 6" lift, excellent) $50
- ORD HD front shackles and full set of front greasable bolts. $15

No plans right now. I'll probably be going to silver lake later this summer but that's probably too late and not far enough north?

Well, I don't have a working front axle anymore because I had to remove the knuckles to work with the crossover steering. So if you are talking about the whole axle with gears, brakes (rotors, calipers, pads, backing plates, hardware), axles, spindles, wheel hubs, warn premium hubs, etc without knuckles or tie rod, I would say $140. Any front Chevy Dana 44 or 10 bolt (1/2 or 3/4 ton) knuckles will work fine. It will also need a tie rod to go with those knuckles to be complete again.

Default dana 44 front axle

I know this a fat chance that you would still have any of these parts. The only things that I am looking for is the backing plates.

Sorry if you've already gotten rid of everything, I just signed up today

Thank you for your time
