Default Wanted CJ5 front bumper and CJ6 or 8 roll bar

Trying an experiment to see if its true that a pre 1975 CJ5 front bumper will fit on my Jeepster.

Also looking for a roll bar for the CJ6 or 8. Prefer a local pickup within an hour or so of Detroit.

If you have any old ones gathering dust let me know. Thanks

Dave

The bumper will work, but the CJ6 rollbar is the same as the CJ5 rollbar. The Scrambler one won't work, either- I had to make a fully custom cage for my wife's '67 Jeepster Convertible.

Bumper is rusty and stock. Come pull it and it is yours, but it is sitting on a jeep in my storage unit down closer to the Ohio line. I can try to pull it this weekend when I go down to clean it up.

I have a CJ-5 fender-mount rollbar out of a '79 CJ-5. I believe they mount the same as the earlier '5 rollbars, but have a slight rake to them when viewing from the side. Mine is in really nice shape, but I'm on the opposite side of the state from you.

If you want Craig's roll bar I may be able to deliver. I have to run out to the Westside next weekend anyway.

The fenders in the back of a Jeepster aren't shaped like a 5,6 or 7, and won't suppurt a fender mounted rollbar. My wife's Jeepster had the factory Continental Kit rear bumper, and I was going to custom build one with a 2" receiver for it.

Looks like its way more modding to make the CJ's roll bar work then i thought. Gonna have to rethink having one made. Thanks
