i just found my book. it says 5/32s of a inch between the halves.

i have a lock right and a spartan. i like the lock right alot. the spartan is still in the box un opened so cant say how that one went togather

the spartans have lil pins that hold the springs and pins in till you hav it set up ...... very nice

Got it back together, i was able to get 2 shims per side and had to tap the pin in with a hammer, it seems to want to work and later today i will test it out and post details.
