I don't know on that. The shafts wheel bolt pattern may be differnt, but you very well may be able to install the earlier axle shafts into the later axle...Or swap the disks to the older axle..

Does the newer axle have disks??

no the newer axle i just got has drums also but has good brakes where as mine has none i figured i could get the brakes and the shafts for spare's and sice the axle was free it was kinda a no brainer but i guess if i can only get the brakes so be it, but id realy like the shafts to work but if not no big deal

Well if you don't want it, I might be interested if the price is cheap enough. I would be interested in finding a housing only from somewhere.

well i pulled 2 studs from the old axle and tryed putting them in the new axle they dont start like they do in the old axle, so im assuming that there not going to work, because with just setting them in they still measure diffrent......

red demon.....you are in a line that seems to be getting longer for the driving experience mini beast is first then a couple buddys who have helped me or will be helping me and what not.. you ever get this way or head somwhere might be able to meet up and wheel, will be adding a tow bar when the axles go in to tow it myself so we'll have to see what work out
