Default SOLD Any interest in supercharged 4.3L engine SOLD

I'm considering selling this engine I built for my boat, not sure if there would be much interest... might be pretty bad a$$ in a Sammy conversion?


91 4.3L V6 engine block
- Bored .040 over
- New Brass freeze plugs
- Block clearanced for Eagle connecting rods
- new hydraulic roller lifters
- obviously all new gaskets
- Icon 2618 alloy dished pistons (IC726+.040)
- Hell Fire piston rings
- Eagle H-beam rods (floating pins) w 7670 bolts (Part# CRS570063D)
- New bearings P-Series bearings
- BBC Melling High Pressure high volume pump (M-99HV-S)
- Hardened steel oil pump drive
- Reciprocating assembly balanced on Hines machine by Crankshaft Craftsman
- Cloyes double roller timing chain
- Performance hydraulic roller camshaft 112 lobe sep/ 210/214 dur @.050", .478"/.487" lift,
- big valve vortec heads with matching springs for cam(2.02/1.60)
- ARP 3/8" rocker studs (stock vortecs where metric so this is a conversion stud)
- Syclone/Typhoon head gaskets (thicker also stainless core)
- BHP cylinder head floor work after 2.02/1.60 valve install
- 4 barrell Vortec intake manifold (cast iron)
- Vortech S trim supercharger with 15lbs pulley with mounting bracket and misc tubing

The blower is mounted with a long reverse rotation waterpump arrangement for a 88+ 4.3/5.0 & 5.7L truck. Water pump, powersteering pump and brackets included.

Basically all that is needed is your choice of fuel delivery, a blow through carb or EFI.

I had planned on finishing the system with an air to water intercooler and using a bosch cobra pump to circulate the lake water through the air charge cooler.

Initial plan was to keep the power under 350hp to keep my outdrive happy but believe this would have made closer to 380hp @ 15lbs.

If anything I would prefer to keep the blower arrangement. I have the shortblock up on another forum without the blower.

I might sell the blower later depending on what motor my next boat has. If I get an Enforcer with a small block I will build another motor next winter and utilize the blower, if I get a Convincor with a big block I will sell the blower.
