RE: Sharron Angle for United States Senate

William Hunter

2655 E Deer Springs Way Apt 1058

N Las Vegas, NV 89086

Dear William,

Next Tuesday, Nevada Republicans will decide who will face and who
will replace Senator Harry Reid in the November Election.

This race is critical because Harry Reid and the Democrats have lost
sight of the self-sufficient free entrepreneurial spirit of Nevada and
are trying to replace it with big government, high taxes and a welfare
state mentality. It is time for Harry Reid to be replaced by a strong
principled conservative voice in the U.S. Senate.

There are three leading candidates in the Republican Primary:

Sharron Angle - The only candidate who can legitimately claim to be
the true conservative in the race. Sharron Angle has demonstrated her
commitment to conservative principles and does not compromise, waver
or flip flop on the issues.

Sharron is the only candidate endorsed by the Tea Party Express and
the only candidate who has supported the tea party movement from day
one. She understands the average folks of Nevada who have come out to
protest the federal government's headlong plunge into nanny-state

Sharron served four terms in the state legislature and her record of
opposing taxes and fighting for fiscal responsibility is unmatched in
this race. Her commitment to fight for and support the second
amendment is second to none.

Sharron has been a Nevadan for over 50 years and knows and understands
the state better than any of her opponents.

After careful consideration, The Republican Majority Campaign PAC has
decided that Sharron Angle is the best candidate to represent Nevada
in the United States Senate. Voters deserve a candidate who will not
play the usual self-serving political games, and one who is committed
to serving the people and protecting the Constitution. Politics as
usual is no longer acceptable in 2010.

The other two leading candidates in the race, Sue Lowden and Danny
Tarkanian, were both late to the tea party this year. We are tired of
politicians who stick their fingers in the wind to see which way it is
blowing. Sharron Angle demonstrated leadership by recognizing from day
one that the tea party protests were necessary and vital to the future
of Nevada and the nation.

Sue Lowden has also been on both sides of the abortion issue. She now
claims to be pro-life but Sharron Angle has a consistent pro-life
position and fought for the right of women to be informed--before they
received an abortion-- of a possible link between breast cancer and

As chairman of the Nevada Republican Party, Sue Lowden supported all
Republicans regardless of their philosophy and regardless of their
records in office. This "my party can do no wrong" approach to
politics is why so many former Republicans now call themselves
independents and joined the tea party movement rather than choose to
work within the Republican Party. Sue Lowden represents politics as
usual. More than ever, we need a candidate who represents the politics
of principle.

Finally, Sue Lowden represents another, even more troublesome style of
politics, and that one that sets aside principles in favor of currying
favor with politicians in power. Sue Lowden contributed $8,000 to
Harry Reid's campaigns in the past. As Jon Ralston, one of the state's
leading political reporters observed, "she was for abortion before she
was against it, and she was for Harry Reid, before she was against

The difference between Sharron Angle and Danny Tarkanian is one of
experience and commitment to the issues. Not only was he late to the
tea party movement, but his past record on the second amendment is
very troubling. He is on the record supporting the Brady restrictions
on gun ownership and was endorsed in a previous unsuccessful campaign
by the Brady organization. But, another troubling aspect to this issue
is his denial that he ever supported gun ownership restrictions.
Politics as usual and not accepting responsibility are not traits we
need in a U.S. Senator.

Sharron Angle brings a refreshing honesty to politics. She connects
with voters disillusioned by political games who are tired of
politicians running for higher office but not being willing to lay it
on the line for principles. Sharron Angle has deeply held beliefs. She
is a passionate believer in the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

The record shows that she will not sell her vote to special interests
in exchange for campaign contributions. She will not place friendships
or political party labels above principles. She will not play the
usual "good old boy" politics that have been far too prevalent in
Nevada and around the country.

It is imperative at this critical time in our history that we elect
candidates with the fortitude and consistent conservative principles
necessary to fight back against the most left-wing Congress and
President in our nation's history.

The Republican Majority Campaign, therefore, urges every Republican
(Democrat and Independent who are able to vote) to cast their vote for
principle above politics and nominate Sharron Angle for the United
States Senate.
