Default whats a reasonable amount to have d35 fixed

I have some dragging noises that happen at random times and from what it sounds like its my inner bearings. engine and suspension stuff i have no problem messing with but i know better than to mess with my innards. can anyone help school me as to how much work is really involved in this?

just a matter of swapping one out. Buy new d35 and put it in, get one cheap compared to paying to have insides redo.

Check the fluid level, I had a similar noise and drove it until the rear end disassembled itself. Found out when the quick lube changed the rear diff fluid they only refilled it with 1/2 quart of oil. The noise was actually the outer axle bearings running dry and eating the axle. I rebuilt mine but it would defiantly be cheaper to swap it out.
