I wanna see any custom or classic. I'm all for everything. Especially those barstool skooters Until they start preventing people from bringing their buggys down or any new custom vehicles im all for it. I rather watch the Cruise driving with them than from the road. Its more fun adding to the parking lot

Actually, I do.

If you have a lifted Jeep or pickup, please cruise Woodward this year. I WANT TO SEE IT!!!!

The taller the better!!!! Bring it on. I pay over $6,000 a year in taxes to live within walking distance of Woodward, so listen to what I want...not what some young punk from Clarkston wants to see.

I'll go down Woodward in my '49 Pickup a few days before the cruise and check out some of the other cars. The day of the cruise, I stay away from the traffic and the idiots. Love the clowns on the side that want you to burn off your tires for them, when they can't even afford a car. :miff: Too me, the day of the cruise has too many assholes risking others to try and show off. Not risking my truck for that. Do like seeing the old and custom vehicles, but am of the mind that it should be cruisers, not mall-wheelers and mom & pop grocery getters. (and I lump the jeeps in there with those, sorry).

As for the Cheesyrider rodeo, pass on that as well. Did security out there for 4 years with ABATE. Too many drunk wannabees and posers for my taste. Would rather be riding the HD than parking it in a dusty fairground, sweating my butt off. But again, that's me, my idea of a good weekend for the Harley, is putting miles on it, and checking out places I haven't seen before.

I agree with CC. I get so sick of seeing vehicles that I can see any day that I go to Silver Lake. Or the grocery store. The cruise is meant for the older vehicles that only come out a few times a year.

For those that complain about it being too crowded..... Duh.....It's all the people that don't belong there that ruin it.

the WDC's "loose definition" vs. MDOT's?

Doesn't the secretary of state still grant "Classic car status" and the appropriate registration/tags to cars greater than 25 years old?

2006-25 = therefore, grandma's 1981 Chevy Citation is more than welcome, complete with sideways mounted am/fm/tapedeck... but especially if it's the X-11 model

As is the bandit's 455 Trans Am from 1978 was it?

I thought a classic car was anything 20 years or older.

I dont know about the citation but i dont think its should be a strict 1975 and older only.

limited edition like pontianc fieros,1980s turbo dodge shelbys, 1984-1986 mustang svo, 1989 trans am GTA witht he turbo buick in it, ALL turbo buick G bodies are cruise worthy to me, same with 1980s SS montes. i think the WDC needs to make it more clear to jerks what "one of a kind" is. One of a kind is custom paint, interior, wheels and suspension. Not a new hemi chrysler 300 on 24" wheels and pirellis. Thats custom not one of a kind. Every ass hat with big wheels thinks he is worthy or rubbing shoulders with genuinely cool rides.
