jack the truck up. check for any loose parts in the front end, im guessing it will need ball joints idler arm, pitman arm, tie rods. is it lifted or stock?

Replace anything that clunks, rattles, etc. Worn bushings or torn boots can also cause play. If it remains, start looking towards your steering box.
