Default 1991 Honda CR250

The bike was stripped to the frame, media blasted, powder-coated, and reassembled using many new parts this winter. Some of the new parts include Weisco piston and rings, Cosmetic Gaskets, Boyesen Power Series Reeds, Twin Air Air Filter, steering stem bearings, suspension bearings, ALL new plastic, CEET Gripper black seat cover, levers, and front and rear EBC pads. Bike has a stock pipe with Pro Circuit spark arrestor. Other extras on the bike include Renthal handlebars and billet chain guide (new poly guides installed during rebuild). Bikes comes with a knobby on it, but also comes with a brand new paddle tire. During the rebuild process as many bolts as possible were replaced and many of which are stainless. Also, the brakes were completely flushed and bled using synthetic fluid. The bike has about 4-5 hours on the complete rebuild and runs great. I didn't rebuild the forks this winter but they were only a few rides before I got the bike.

My only real complaint of the bike is that it doesn't have "get up" of a lot of 250s due to the fact that it has weight added onto the flywheel or stator or whatever it is. Apparently it lets you lug around in higher gears without stalling. Very easy to pull off and would only take 20 minutes to pull the cover, take it off, put it back to stock. The only other thing I can think of off hand is that the kickstarter has some play. Not uncommon for a bike this old, especially a Honda. I've seen 5 year old Hondas with this much play in the kickstarter.
