I figured out why it broke so easy. The drivers side were not chromolys but the passengers side appear to me. The previous owner told me they were chromoly and I guess I never paid that close of attention to the drivers side. Oh well, live and learn.

I'm done with him, he offered me $100 but I declined because I'm sick of dealing with the bs with this jeep. I'm just walking away and calling it a loss.

I have to make a parts store run tomorrow. I have learned that every single part that I take off this thing is getting replaced with new. I'm sick of dealing with junk.

That is always a good idea.

Instead of waiting for it to ruin a wheeling trip.

And on top of that they are all rusted together and the bolts are all fucked up. I got a new power steering pump and went to take the pulley off the old one and it is so fucked up it would take an act of god to get it off.

Trying to get the nut off my stub shaft I broke a 3/4" and 1/2" drive ratchet. Good thing ROCKSOLID performance has some spectacular customer service. I texted beejers and he met me at the shop after hours and he popped it off with his impact. I can't say enough good about those guys!
