My mom just informed me last night that she is having our family Christmas party the 21st at their house. If I miss that I will probably be written out of the will I'm going to see how it goes and try to make an appearance early and make it home by the party.

That will happen very soon. The other one sucks ass! The tranny gets hot in no time and it is too hard to ease into stuff.

My list of things to start with

1- pull radiator and get the hole repaired
2- torque convertor
3- put new steering box, pump and shaft in
4- rubber mount motor and trans and do a tummy tuck
5- mount art Carr shifter
6- long arms
7- skid plates
8- new 2 into 1 quieter exhaust
9- rubber mount frame tie ins for the cage
10- build new high clearance tube fenders front and rear
11- remove the 4.5" springs and install 2"ish springs and spacers up front to make it sit level
12- redo all the wiring and remove extra wiring
13- build new bumpers and mount my 8274
14- new custom cage

I want to get the entire jeep solid and bombproof before I put the 60 and 14b in. My goal is to do everything as small individual projects so I can keep the jeep running and driving. For once I'm not doing a big project that will result in me parting it out. :Sonicjay: I want to end up with a low cog tj that will be very streetable. At this point in my life I really don't want a trailer queen.

Am I begging for punishment if I throw a hydro assist ram on my dana 30 with 35s. I got a ported box and lines, all I need is a cheap tsc ram. I just don't want to break anything.

It's been done. It's turd polish, but if you plan to run hydro assist when you swap in a 60, then it makes sense.

I picked up a Durango box off here and it is already tapped and jeepsamutt just told me he has a ram that I can have. The box on there is junk so I have to change it anyways. It should only take a couple evenings worth of work at this point. I completely agree it is polishing a turd. If I'm not going to break something right away because of the added strain I will do it.

I have more fun with something that I can actually use on a daily basis if I want. Of all the toys and assorted vehicles that I have owned I enjoyed my white tj on 32s the most.

yeah, I've been tossing around getting rid of the eliminator and building up the xj a little bit more, and refinishing my 77 ranger 150a

I'm not gonna say it won't break immediately, but there is a chance it won't. I'm sure PSC has sold lots of assist systems to folks running d30s.
