Default 4.3L chevy engine

Anybody got a 4.3L non balance shaft shortblock or engine that needs rebuilding? I'm looking for a block, crank and rods for a project. I believe this will be 91 and earlier engines.

PM me contact info and info on the engines.

i have one from a '92. no idea if it's a balance shaft engine or not, though (since you said '91 "or so").

I have a one out of a 94 Full size. Non-balanced shaft motor. 225k on it Runs strong and would be a good start for you. No Alt, AC, or water pump. Other than that stuff missing its all there TBI to Oil Pan. I do have the fan for it.

That sounds like a good start, does the block have the mechanical fuel pump provision? I'm sure the truck had an in tank fuel pump, I'm not sure what year they stopped casting the blocks to accept the mechanical fuel pump?

I need a block that will accept mechanical fuel pump, let me know I'm not to far from you!

No it does not have a mechanical fuel pump. It has the cavitie there I guess you would need to machine it to make it work.
Last year that I know they had the mechanical fuel pump was in 85-86 Astro Vans and I know those are few and far between now a days. It sucks to because I just scraped one in February. It needed alot of work.
