I got some tear down accomplished today. Old springs, perches, brackets, shock mount-radiator support , ect........kind of a pain w/o out air. But I made some headway.

tanks out and in the parts for sale section if anyone is interested. D60 outer assembly parts are in a electrolisys bath getting rust free. Started figuring how I want to boat-side it and incorporate "rocker-sliders". I think that will look cool when it's all done.

Ya ever spent what seems like an eternity in the garage and when you're done it appears that all you did was consume beverages.............well today was that day.

1. cut and ground the existing shock brackets and spring perches off of the 14 Bolt. I believe, after 6 Sawzall blades, 5 cutting wheels, 2.5 grinding wheels, one burned shirt, one burned U-haul packing blanket and a old bath towel in ashes that, the welds might have been a little excessive from the previous owner.
2. Put some D60 parts in paint and others in the soda bath.
3. Ground and cut the old bracketry on the frame untill I ran out of cutting wheels and time.

It wasn't the heat. It wasn't that I started the day off bad, it was actually very good. I don't know why I didn't get very much done, but I didn't get very much done at all. i had to quit at around 6:30 before I had a rage attack and started hittin' sh*t with a sledge hammer. So here are a couple of pics to my pathetic progress. Sometimes I wonder why I am doin' this build anyways. "what up Esse..."
