Default 2010 Forest Clean-Up

Had a good time today.

We focused on this one spot for the day, we got a little wet but pulled 26 tires and a frefigerator from the creek

I had a good time also. Worked in area 10 all day. Spent it working on one pile of crap left by somebody. We ended up getting the dump trailer back there with a bobcat to finish it up. It almost filled the whole trailer!!!!!!!!

Hey, this is Steve. I was the orange shirt at the #10 orange dumpsters. You guys were unbelievable!

You brought back about 500 tires just for section 10 alone!

By 2:30Pm both of the dumpsters were full.

A huge thanks as well to the equipment operators, We wouldn't have been able to load those dumpsters without you guys!

Thanks!

All I know is it is over 600! They filled that tire truck and multiple smaller trailers.

Last I heard was 800 to 1,000.
We filled the staight truck and then brought
4 trailers and 2 truck loads to the transfer station.
Kudos to the transfer station operator for staying open past quitting time about 45 minuets so we could unload the rest of the tires.
Thanks also to everyone that helped with the tires after lunch!
Many hands make light work.

Good to meet you "noodles".
Good to see you again "sonoma944".
and everyone else!!

My wife went to this with the assumption we were picking up wrappers & pop bottles.... but after picking up camper roofs, hundreds of tires, a truck load of old clothes and who knows what else... We've decided next year we will be a little more prepared for the trip! All in all we had a great time and are already talking about next year. Thanks to everyone else who helped out!

I counted 18 needles and syringes in that pile.
Got the bobcat to come and scoop that pile up and he took it straight to the dumpster.
Didn't want to put my hands anywhere near that!!
